Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fresh ginger root, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh turmeric root, peeled and chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup water
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions

  1. In a high-speed blender, combine ginger, turmeric, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, honey, cayenne, black pepper, and water.
  2. Blend on high speed for 2-3 minutes until completely smooth.
  3. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove pulp.
  4. Add sea salt and stir to combine.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness or spiciness if needed.
  6. Pour into small shot glasses or storage containers.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
