Special Notes
This turkey rub recipe creates a flavorful, well-balanced seasoning that enhances the natural taste of the turkey. The combination of herbs and spices creates a classic flavor profile that's perfect for holiday meals. The salt helps to season the meat and create a crispy skin, while the herbs add aromatic depth. The cayenne pepper adds a subtle heat that complements the other flavors. This rub works well with both whole turkeys and turkey breasts. The longer you let the turkey rest with the rub, the more flavorful it will be. This rub can also be used on other poultry like chicken or duck.
