Special Notes
This homemade strawberry pie filling is bursting with fresh strawberry flavor. The cornstarch creates a thick, glossy filling that holds its shape when sliced. For best results, use ripe but firm strawberries. This filling works perfectly in a pre-baked pie crust or as a topping for cheesecake. You can also use it as a filling for tarts or as a sauce for ice cream.
