Ingredients

  • 2 cans (14.75 oz each) salmon, drained and flaked
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup onions, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried dill
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan
  2. In a large bowl, combine salmon, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, onions, celery, parsley, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and dill
  3. Mix well until all ingredients are combined
  4. Press mixture into prepared loaf pan
  5. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce
  6. Spread sauce mixture over the top of the loaf
  7. Bake for 45 minutes until golden brown and firm
  8. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing
  9. Serve with additional ketchup or tartar sauce
