
Pulled Ham Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 bone-in ham (4-5 pounds)
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Place ham in a slow cooker
- In a bowl, whisk together brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and all seasonings
- Pour mixture over ham
- Add chicken broth to the slow cooker
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours
- Remove ham and let cool slightly
- Shred ham with two forks, removing any fat
- Return shredded ham to the slow cooker
- Mix with the cooking liquid
- Cook for 30 more minutes on low
- Serve on buns with coleslaw
