Special Notes
This homemade peach syrup is perfect for pancakes, waffles, or ice cream. The key is to use very ripe peaches for the best flavor. The lemon juice adds brightness while the vanilla enhances the peach flavor. This syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. For extra flavor, you can add different spices or herbs. The syrup should be completely cool before storing.
