
Pan-Fried Oyster Mushrooms Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 pound oyster mushrooms
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Clean mushrooms and tear into large pieces.
- Heat butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add mushrooms in a single layer and cook without stirring for 3-4 minutes.
- Flip mushrooms and cook for another 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Add garlic, thyme, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and stir in parsley and lemon juice.
- Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
- Serve immediately as a side dish or over pasta.
