
Lox Bagel Recipe
Ingredients
- 2 everything bagels, sliced
- 4 ounces smoked salmon (lox)
- 4 tablespoons cream cheese
- 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons capers
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1/2 cucumber, sliced
- 1/4 cup fresh dill
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Toast bagels until golden brown
- Spread cream cheese on both halves of each bagel
- Layer smoked salmon on the bottom half of each bagel
- Add red onion slices on top of the salmon
- Sprinkle capers over the onion
- Add tomato and cucumber slices
- Garnish with fresh dill
- Season with black pepper
- Top with the other half of the bagel
- Serve with lemon wedges on the side
