Ingredients

  • 12 ounces lo mein noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup sliced carrots
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions, drain and set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, cornstarch, and chicken broth.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat.
  4. Add garlic and ginger, stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  5. Add mushrooms, bell pepper, broccoli, and carrots, stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Add cooked noodles and sauce mixture, toss to combine.
  7. Cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  8. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
