Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 can (15 ounces) Libby's pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  2. Grease two 9x5-inch loaf pans
  3. In large bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt
  4. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger
  5. In separate bowl, beat sugar and oil
  6. Add eggs one at a time
  7. Stir in pumpkin puree
  8. Add dry ingredients alternately with water
  9. Pour batter into prepared pans
  10. Bake for 60-65 minutes until toothpick comes out clean
  11. Cool in pans for 10 minutes
  12. Remove to wire rack
