Special Notes
This lavender simple syrup adds a delicate floral flavor to drinks and desserts. The combination of lavender and vanilla creates a sophisticated, aromatic syrup. The key is not to over-steep the lavender to prevent it from becoming bitter. You can customize this recipe by using different herbs or adding different extracts. This syrup is perfect for cocktails, lemonade, or as a sweetener for tea and coffee.
