Classic Jello Shot Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 package (3 oz) Jell-O gelatin (any flavor)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup vodka
  • Whipped cream (optional)
  • Sprinkles (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, add the Jell-O powder.
  2. Pour in boiling water and whisk until completely dissolved.
  3. Add cold water and vodka, stirring well to combine.
  4. Pour mixture into shot glasses or small plastic cups.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until completely set.
  6. Top with whipped cream and sprinkles if desired before serving.

Special Notes

These colorful and fun shots are perfect for parties and celebrations. The alcohol content is about 10% per shot. For a non-alcoholic version, replace the vodka with additional cold water. Make sure to use shot glasses that can withstand the temperature change from hot to cold.
