
Perfect Instant Pot Rice Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 cup long-grain white rice
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon butter (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse rice in cold water until water runs clear, drain well.
- Add rice, water, salt, and butter to Instant Pot.
- Stir to combine and ensure rice is evenly distributed.
- Close lid and set valve to sealing position.
- Press Manual/Pressure Cook and set to 3 minutes on high pressure.
- When cooking is complete, let pressure release naturally for 10 minutes.
- Quick release any remaining pressure.
- Fluff rice with a fork and serve immediately.
