
Hibachi Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce and rice vinegar
- Add sesame oil and honey
- Stir in ginger, garlic, and green onions
- Add red pepper flakes, black pepper, and salt
- Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat
- Reduce heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes
- Remove from heat and let cool
- Strain if desired for a smoother sauce
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator
- Use as a marinade, dipping sauce, or stir-fry sauce
