Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup Hershey's chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C)
  2. In large bowl, cream butter and sugars
  3. Beat in egg and vanilla
  4. Add flour, baking soda, and salt
  5. Mix until combined
  6. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts
  7. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto baking sheets
  8. Bake for 9-11 minutes until golden
  9. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes
  10. Transfer to wire racks to cool
