Ingredients
- 8 slices thick bread
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk

Instructions
- Cut each bread slice into 3 strips

- Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat
- Dip bread strips into egg mixture, coating both sides
- Let excess mixture drip off before placing in skillet
- Cook strips for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown
- Remove and place on paper towels to drain
- Repeat with remaining strips
- Dust with powdered sugar
- Serve immediately with maple syrup
