  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, combine chicken broth, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and hoisin sauce
  2. Add rice vinegar and brown sugar
  3. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water
  5. Gradually add cornstarch mixture to the saucepan, stirring constantly
  6. Cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens
  7. Remove from heat and stir in sesame oil
  8. Add garlic powder, white pepper, and salt
  9. Mix well to combine all ingredients
  10. Let cool before using
  11. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week
