Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken breasts, cooked and shredded
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine shredded chicken, soups, broth, sour cream, melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour mixture into a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  6. Stir in milk until just combined.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough over the chicken mixture.
  8. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
