
Calico Beans Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) lima beans, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) butter beans, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) pork and beans
- 1/2 pound bacon, diced
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup mustard
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook bacon until crispy.
- Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine all beans.
- Add bacon, onion, brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, vinegar, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Mix well to combine.
- Pour into a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until bubbly and heated through.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
