
Beef Tapa Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds beef sirloin, sliced thin
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- In bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, garlic, and spices
- Add beef and marinate for 2 hours
- Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat
- Add onion and garlic, cooking until softened
- Add marinated beef and cook until browned
- Add water and simmer for 5 minutes
- Serve hot with rice
