  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and cloves
  3. In a separate bowl, cream butter until light and fluffy
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time
  5. Add applesauce and vanilla extract, mixing well
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined
  7. Fold in chopped walnuts and raisins
  8. Pour batter into prepared pan
